
Stefanie Reeves has over 15 years of association government relations experience working for such organizations as the American Psychological Association and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She has served a variety of government relations positions including lobbyist and PAC Director. In 2014, she founded Generation Advocacy offering advocacy training sessions, PAC management strategies and other government relations services.
Stefanie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from The George Washington University and a Master of Arts degree in Government from Johns Hopkins University. In 2010, she earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
As an active member of ASAE, Stefanie serves as Chair (as of September 1, 2014) of their Government Relations Section Council and member of their Public Policy Committee. She is also a 2008-2009 Diversity Executive Leadership Program (DELP) Scholar. Stefanie serves on the Board of the Directors of the Washington Government Relations Group (WGRG), a membership organization representing African American government relations professionals. She also has her own blog, Association Advocacy Chick where she talks about government relations, diversity, association management and social media. A native Washingtonian, Stefanie currently resides in Silver Spring, MD.
