Increasing Volunteer Productivity through Volunteer Accountability

Grassroots & PAC Workstorm - Thursday, December 10

Fair or unfair, your legacy is in part determined by your grassroots and PAC stakeholders. Whether association members or employees, you need their enthusiasm and action to achieve your goals. However, your volunteers don’t officially report to you. They can quit whenever they want.  You may have a solid strategy and tactics to move your legislative agenda and PAC forward, but it takes real people “on the ground” to achieve success.

In this workstorm, learn from two veteran political involvement professionals how to maximize your PAC and/or grassroots volunteer’s results through greater personal responsibility and accountability measures, all without alienating them in the process.

You’ll learn:

  • The event(s) that led these organizations to give volunteers more accountability for their actions
  • Typical volunteer tasks and projects
  • Reasonable expectations for volunteer tasks and projects
  • Ways to critique and redirect underperforming volunteers without damaging personal and professional relationships
