Jamie Richardson

Jamie T. Richardson is an “Ultimate Craver” who took his love of White Castle hamburgers to its logical extreme, joining the White Castle home office team in 1998. Jamie serves as Vice President, White Castle System, Inc. with responsibilities for government affairs, shareholder relations, public relations and corporate philanthropy.

Prior to this role, Jamie served as Director of Marketing. Jamie’s craving for White Castle was nurtured during time he spent working on the business as part of the J. Walter Thompson advertising agency team, where he also had assignments on a range of accounts like Domino’s Pizza, Tenneco Automotive and Carhartt Outdoor Apparel.

In recent years, Jamie has led White Castle’s involvement in entertainment projects like “Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle”, “Undercover Boss” and “Impractical Jokers”. Jamie makes frequent appearances on Fox News, Fox Business News and CNBC, sharing restaurant industry perspectives on current events and policy issues. He is quoted often in publications like The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Forbes and other business related publications.

Jamie serves on the board of Family Enterprise USA, the National Council of Chain Restaurants and the Ohio Restaurant Association where he chairs the Government Affairs Committee and the PAC committee. He is active in community, serving on a number of charity boards including the YMCA of Central Ohio, and the American Red Cross National Philanthropy Board.

He is a graduate of Siena Heights University, Class of 1987, where he majored in business administration and was named the recipient of the “Outstanding Alumni Award” in 2010. Jamie earned his MBA degree from Ohio Dominican University. Jamie and his wife Kate live in Mount Vernon, Ohio and have five children, Brendan, Chloe, Mary Grace, Maggie and Finn. In his spare time, when he isn’t watching C-Span 3, or musing on metaphysics, Jamie is often found spinning classic rock hits from his vinyl LP collection.
